The Director of the One World Centre is Rosemary Clarke. Following two years of teaching Geography in a secondary school, Rosemary has had opportunities to work in tourism and the media before accepting placements with charities in northern Iraq, Ethiopia and Mozambique. On her return to the UK she worked for two charities in Milton Keynes before joining the One World Centre in June 2011.
Her work is guided and supported by a management committee, currently composed as follows:

Ali Burton is a director of the Company, teaches at Anagh Coar Primary School and makes enthusiastic suggestions for our work.
Fams Camara spends much of his free time on water projects in the Gambia
Clare Manser is the Head of St Thomas’ C of E Primary School in Douglas and brings her educational expertise to the management committee.
Phil Matthews is also a director of the Company and has recently taken early retirement, having taught geography at Ballakermeen High School for many years
Joseph Miranda is an IT specialist
Louise Whitelegg is the Christian Aid representative on the Island
